Past Layouts

v1 - plaid perfection: started off as geniusj.tripod.com but I got annoyed with the popups and bought my domain. this layout was on forever-digital.net for a lil while too. I got the idea for it from a mag, I think it was like cosmoGIRL or one of those and todd oldham did the plaid design on sum1s wall =o).

v2 - forever-digital: I was learning how to use brushes and came up with the main graphic for this layout. I was also experimenting with div aligns and stuff, so this layout was basically one big experiment.

v3 - sherbet sundae: playing with more brushes, I came up with this layout. I wanted sumthing brighter, to get away from the blacks of the v2. I also wanted the blog to be more prominent.

v4 - boring blog layout: I got tired if v3, the colors were gettin on my nerves and the layout stunk so tada, a blog layout. I was having a creative block and needed to get rid of v3 desperately. i don't know where the screen cap of this one went, I lost it when my puter crashed =o(

v5 - crystalized: I was on my laptop and it only had photoshop (which is impossible to figure out) so I just played around with sum filters and stuff and got this effect. Its simple, but it worked for the time being

v6 - anything but ordinary: bordom again and the need to get rid of the stoopid lookin v5 brought about this layout. I was just playin in PSP and this came out! lol

v7 - enter the pinkness: i'd been planning this one for a while in school when I was doodling. I tweaked it for a while and finally put it up...i was very sad to see it go, but I don't like having the same layout for too long.

v8 - luvin tobey maguire: I didn't want to take v7 down yet, but I had this one all done, so I put it up n e way. I just bought the spiderman DVD so I just hadta stick tobey on! *drools*

v9 - christmas time is here: I loved the tobey layout, but christmas is coming, so hadta put up an xmas layout. this one took FOREVER! I couldn't come up with anything! so I just got a ton of xmas pics, made a montage, and made myself a layout. It's not one of my faves, at least creativity wise. I love the montage, but the rest is kinda bleh...not very original I guess..lol

v10 - pixeled I FINALLY got rid of that xmas layout..it was driving me insane! this one is called pixeled...it's obvious y. not really a blog layout...not really a popup layout...just..a layout. lol. I was debating between this one and what will b version 11 to put up after xmas...and this one won! =o) o and for those of you who are interested, (i was asked a lot about this) there are 913 little boxes in this layout!

v11 - disco fever this layout was my 1st time with a flash intro. I was playing around in PSP7 a few months ago and came up with this background. the other day I was looking through old files and came across it. It was originally supposed to be a long banner, but I decided it could look cool as layout...so here ya go, the birth of version 11. lol. I dont know where I came up with the title for it. I think I was just playing with effects in PSP and the BG turned into a disco ball lookin thing..so yah..i just put a 3D spin on it in the flash intro and tada! =o)

v12 - spring it's been a while since I put up a new layout, but finally here it is! it's kinda different that my usual pink layouts lol, but I felt like doin sumthin cheery with all this snow and cold! lol. not one of my faves, but cute in it's own way. I like the lil basket weave-y easter-y look haha.

v13 - sponged ok, so the name stinks completely, but the look is pretty kool on this one. I don't really know how it started, I was just playin around in PSP cuz I needed a new layout, and tada, this is what I came up with. It's pretty decent I think. I've yet to beat v.11 tho!! =o)

v14 - stained glass this one took me like...10 hours!! ridiculous!! but the result was pretty good! I introduced Boink in this layout and it's one of my more...organized looking layout I think! enjoy!

v15 - featuring sexy shakin' aiken my inspiration for this layout is obvious...i was pissed that clay didn't win american idol!! but that's ok, cuz he's still better and his CD will do better! lol anyway...this layout had a flash intro...see that here and had tons of pics of clay.

v16 - Bzzzzzz I found the lil pic of the bee when I was surfing around lookin for some inspiration for my next layout, and tada! lol I loved the bee and I couldn't resist! it's a lot brighter than the clay layout very summer-y/spring-y lol

v17 - Purple Passion this layout doesn't have a little story behind it. I was desperate for a new layout and playing with PSP and it just...evolved =o) it's not too great, but its a change from my usual bright blues and pinks =o) it also took me forever to come up with a title, but that's to Melissa's help, it's Purple Passion!

v18 - One Year Anniversary wow, I can't believe forever-digital has been up for an entire year already! this is the one year anniversary layout, nothing special, I don't really like it, but I needed something! thanks to those of you who have been coming since the beginning!

v19 - Stuck Studying finally, after 3 months...a new layout! lol I'm pretty proud of this one...yes yes, that IS me modeling...lol isn't it a purtious pic? lol lets see how long THIS one will be up for!

v20 - ...with spring comes change... finally, after another 3 months...wait...4! a new layout...this one sucks but it'll do for now til I come up with something better. I wasn't in a very creative mood this mornin, but I wanted to get rid of that old one. anyway...look past the gross easter colors and enjoy the content =o)

v21 - wondering... yep...I knew that layout wouldn't last long..it was putrid. I'm actually pretty proud of this one. this is my 1st layout in a LONG time that doesn't have a splash page...and *gasp* it's a blog layout. I think this one's a keeper (for a little while at least!)

v22 - autumn @ forever-digital well, when I'm right I'm right! version 21 stayed up longer than any other layout on this site! thru the entire summer til november...craziness I know. so here's a new one...i took this pic last year and I wanted an autumn layout so I threw this together. not one of my faves, but it'll do =o)

v23 - ELECTRIFIED! yeah the scarecrow layout was really bothering me...so after about a day of having that one up, I made this...i like it...it's crazy and scattered and stuff...pretty much how my brain is lately...full of so much information and things to remember it's about to explode!

v24 - in the palm of my hand wow, a new layout in such a short period of time? yep, thought i'd start '05 with a fresh layout. that's my hand doing such a wonderful modeling job. no story behind this one, just wanted a new layout!

v25 - blossom the other layout was up for over 6 months - time for a change. took this pic while camping and thought it would look pretty. pretty different color scheme than I usually use, but I like it.

v26 - fall changes after learning how bad my coding was, I decided to go thru the site and attempt to "validate" everything. along with that came this layout. It's of one of the gorges here @ cornell. I took this pic last year, but it still looks the same. not one of my better works, but it served its purpose.

v27 - winter wonderland finally, winter break has arrived and along with it, the time to work on this site! this layout features another pic of the gorges @ cornell that I took on my way to my spanish final. I'm really happy with this one. the last layout was pretty crappy, so anything compared to that is good! =o) enjoy.

v28 - geek at heart less than a week after I put up winter wonderland I realized how much I hated it. this layout features my dog buddy. It's quite different from the last layout, especially color-wise. It also has a bit of a different setup. I'm still working on tweaking some things, but I'm somewhat pleased with this one.

v29 - identity I didn't have the intention of making a new layout, but it happened. Nothing special here. My biggest feat was getting rid of the blog layout...finally. I don't even know how I ended up with the name "identity". I guess I just liked the picture and decided it was a good fit? Hope you like it.

v30 I didn't really like dark colors of the last layout, especially since it was starting to get warmer out, so I decided to use a picture I had just taken around campus and make a layout out of it. This one brought back the blog layout, despite my desire to avoid it at all costs. I like it though, it's cheery and bright. I don't know how long it'll be up for, but it'll do for now. It's nice and CSS-valid and accessible too. Enjoy.

v31: Fourth Anniversary Edition This layout was based on the desire to retire the previous layout. Although I meant to use it for the site's 4th anniversary, I couldn't take looking at that same tulip layout anymore. I found a cool script called NiftyCube which created rounded corners without using images. I wanted something a little less bold as well. I took this picture of a lily a few days earlier and I just had to use it in a layout.

v32: back to school The previous layout was short lived. Just before I left for school I decided to take that one down. I knew that once I got here I wouldn't have much time to change layouts. It's a little more "autumn" in color scheme. This one was also based on a photo I took at Cornell. It's a good layout all in all, but I think it's a little dark. Hopefully I'll have time to put up another one soon.

v33: under construction This layout, by far, is the simplest layout I've ever done. I was bored in class and decided I needed a new layout (the other one was making me not want to even look at the site and therefore not blog!). I edited this one all live and didn't really change a drop of code except for eliminating some elements. Gotta love CSS. Nice simple color scheme, not too bad on the eyes... it's a keeper for now. It's called "under construction" because it'll be a work-in-progress over the next few weeks/months until I have time for another complete change.
